Local artists Kage just got 2 more songs back from mastering. These last two installments are bit darker and ambient as the group continue to mine away their collective influences. Possibly their best captured performances, K3 is a raw and personal recording described by the group as two sides of a coin. The first track is sparse dark and almost desperate. Refuge is found as track 1 dissolves into second track - a song about being stuck but spotting a possible way out and the choice to act upon it or accepting being trapped.
Sonically it's head trip with lots of layered guitars, echoing drums and subtle nuanced vocals.
